About The Grasshopper

These pages are a look at the joy and simple wisdom of Japanese art and the Haiku.

I am learning about the Haiku so come along with me and find out about this beautiful style of poetry.

I am not looking for lots of followers, the pages are there because I enjoy doing it, if you like them, great.

Can I thank Mary of mypenand me for awarding me a Sunshine award, I am flattered she should like my pages enough to think of doing it.
I am trying to find out what to do. One thing I don’t want to do is to put the award logo on my home page. I mean absolutely no disrespect in not doing so, it is just that one of the aims of my page is to keep it as simple and as minimalist as I can as befits the nature of the haiku.
    Mary, thanks again.

Mike, I entirely agree with your philosophy to produce your blog because you enjoy it rather than to attract a million followers! I have the same view, and that means that every time someone visits my blog and likes a post or a photo or leaves a positive comment I feel proud that they have found my little corner of the blogosphere!

I am glad you agree, and a very small part of the blogosphere we all are, it is amazing we get found at all.
      all the best
